Day 2 South Cotabato (General Santos and Polomolok)

This is the biggest mango I’ve ever laid eyes on. The branch had to be supported by a makeshift pole so it wouldn’t break off from the trunk.

After we finished the interviews with Polomolok corn farmers, we took a look around the municipal nursery. That’s when we wandered to where the mango tree was – as were rows of radish, chili, and onion, and more vegetables and herbs that I couldn’t identify.
